FRANTISEK MORAVEC 

 

František Moravec was the leader of the Czech military-in-exile, and part of his job was running an intelligence operation that supplied the British and other Allies with up-to-date information throughout the war.

Moravec fled Prague on the night of 14 March 1939 along with a few key aides and all his intelligence files.

Throughout the war he and his team were able to maintain radio contact with the Czech resistance, took part in the planning of the assassinations of Reinhard Heydrich and Emanuel Moravec, a traitor and Nazi collaborator who was also known as the “Czech Quisling”.
