Armed resistance during WWII spanned from guerrilla warfare waged by partisans groups, to armed raids, assassinations, and, at its peak, mass uprisings. Whilst the moral issues surrounding armed actions were often not clear cut, they were absolutely central to the story of resistance during WWII.
